Please sign the petition the *keep* LGBT issues in the relationships curriculum. It still has a lot of catching up to do against the nasty petition. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/631529
Friday was my last day in my previous role, and while I'm having some very productive conversations already, I would be open to more introductions and chats about Developer/API experience, tools, open source, and other engineering-focused roles.
Aiven also announced layoffs (on the day I resigned, my timing is a classic), please keep an eye open for my brilliant former colleagues and let me know I can intro you to anyone?
Boosts are appreciated.
Good work on bus data from Tom Forth https://tomforth.co.uk/transportin2023/ Tom has been looking at how far you could actually get on buses in Leeds compared to what the timetable data would suggest. Unsurprisingly, it is much less.
If you’re at the right place at the right time, with the right equipment, this is possible.
Last night, with guidance from https://transit-finder.com/, I positioned myself along the narrow line where the International #SpaceStation would pass between me and the nearly full moon.
I used a Fujifilm X-T4 shooting 4K video through a Celestron 8” SCT to capture the pass. Then, back at the computer this morning, put together these views with PIPP, Registax, and GIMP.
Quite pleased. My best yet.
More webhooks providers should offer the feature to route them locally for testing. Pleased to see GitHub offering it, because they kind of lead the way! https://github.blog/changelog/2022-11-16-webhook-forwarding-in-the-github-cli-public-beta/ #DevX #webhooks
